About Plainsight UK

Plainsight UK is a UK news site built around one habit: show where every fact came from.

What we cover

UK breaking news, crime and policing, courts, government and politics, business, housing, transport, technology, health, education, weather, sport, entertainment and real-life stories, with Wales as a full section rather than an afterthought.

How it is different

Each story lists its sources with type, date and a note on reliability. Each fact-bearing story carries a label: Confirmed, Official statement, Developing or Unconfirmed. Corrections are shown with timestamps, never quietly swapped in.

AI in the newsroom

AI tools help find material and draft summaries. They do not create evidence, and they do not publish serious stories on their own. A person approves anything high-risk. Read the full detail in our editorial standards.

Demo content

Until real sources are connected and stories are approved, the site may show clearly labelled demo stories. They are samples, not news.
